Midnight Sky was the very first yarn I ever dyed. Back then, I was still dreaming up business names, and "Midwest Fiber Witch" was at the top of my list with the idea of a dark night sky in mind. Armed with just three dyes—Spruce, Lilac, and Jet Black—and a lot of curiosity, I started experimenting to see if I could create something beautiful.

I honestly wasn't sure if anyone would want to buy my yarn. To my surprise, people not only purchased it—they started asking if I had a website. At the time, the answer was "not yet."

Today, that dream has become reality. While my business has grown and found its forever name, this colorway remains a tribute to where it all began. Every skein is a reminder that every small business starts with a single idea, a little courage, and the willingness to try.
